Determine your structural body frame and somatotype. Based on skeletal dimensions, identify if you are an Ectomorph, Mesomorph, or Endomorph and learn how to optimize your lifestyle.
Please fill in your gender, height, and wrist circumference to classify your skeletal structure and somatotype.
Originally conceptualized by psychologist William Sheldon in the 1940s, **somatotyping** classifies human body structures into three main archetypes: Ectomorph, Mesomorph, and Endomorph. These body types reflect a combination of bone structure, joint size, muscle distribution, and metabolic tendencies.
Ectomorphs are characterized by long limbs, small joints, a delicate bone structure, and a fast metabolism. They find it harder to store fat and build muscle mass (often called "hardgainers").
Mesomorphs have a natural athletic structure with a medium frame, broad shoulders, narrow waist, and high bone density. They gain muscle easily and respond quickly to structured workouts.
Endomorphs have a wider frame, larger joints, and a shorter limb ratio. They naturally have a slower metabolism, which makes storing energy (fat) easy, but they also possess immense natural strength.
Your bone structure (frame size) is genetic and cannot be modified. However, your **somatotype is not a lifetime sentence**. While your skeletal structure is fixed, your ratio of muscle-to-fat is highly responsive to clean nutrition and targeted training.
